Team GB Olympic high jumper and current veteran world record holder, Dalton Grant is excited and proud that the 2012 Games will take place in London. From Hackney, Dalton is actively involved ensuring that the opportunity is maximized not just in his home borough but also in Britain as a whole. Dalton will share with the audience what it’s like to be an athlete at the Olympics, the build-up, competition days and what happens when the Games close. He will also give insight into what the fans in the venues, London and general population will taste and revel in. He will be open and honest with his thoughts and at times will be critical, but overall will leave the audience with a feel for how retailers and the wider public can enjoy and make the most of London 2012.

Commander Morris will give the Metropolitan Police’s unique view of the 2012 games, with leave cancelled already the Olympics will present the police with the equivalent of a Notting Hill carnival running for 100 days straight (the normal 3 days of the carnival is in itself the largest policing operation the force undertakes each year).
Commander Morris will also give delegates some unique insights and facts as the Metropolitan Police prepare for the largest public event ever held in the UK.
